My Experience

My First “Nyoblos” Day

                     On February 15th, 2017 is a celebration of democracy for the citizens of Jakarta. Many people say that the elections this year is hotter than other elections in previous year, well if we watch the debates on television yes thats right especially on social media.  

                     So i woke up at 5 o’clock in the morning then i prayed, took a bath, and helped my mother cleaned the house until 6 o’clock. After that i heard an announcement from the election officer’s said “Good morning folks, for all voters Rt 005/Rw 09 the polling station will open at 7 o’clock”. Then my dad went to polling station to gave the invitation card. Before that my mom explained me how to vote and the steps. So after an hour i went to polling station with my mom and my dad. First my dad being called by officer then my mother and finally me. And the thrilling moment happen. I slowly opened the ballot paper and sayed bismillah then i voted one of the candidate. That was very fast moment but very decisive for the future. And finally i dip my little finger into an ink. Im so exited, also i captured my finger and shared to my friends. 

                      I really hope the candidate that selected will be work seriously for Jakarta. Im proud if Jakarta can be clean, safe, and comfortable city. Remember, your choice define the future.
